Netquiz Web – A Useful Tool for Teachers!

This text was initially published by Profweb under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 International licence, before Eductive was launched.

Netquiz Web is a web-based application that allows for the creation of formative on-line quizzes that was developed by the Collegial Centre for Educational Materials Development (also known by its French acronym CCDMD).

It’s a web-based application that is:

  • Multilingual
  • Multi-platform
  • Allows multiple users

Netquiz Web allows you to easily create exercises, quiz games or formative tests with multimedia, and to publish them on the web with a few simple clicks.

The application allows for the creation of 14 different types of questions (matching, multiple choice, classification, grid, essay, dictation, labelling, sequencing, short answer, multiple answer, fill-in-the-blank, true or false, zone identification and page). It is possible to insert hints into your questions, as well as images, text, sound or video. The tool also has a glossary which can be referenced within your questions.

If you are a Teacher or college network professional, you can create a Netquiz Web account on the Profweb server at the following address: http://netquiz.profweb.ca.

In addition, if you are already a Netquiz Pro 4.96 user, you will be able to import your question banks into Netquiz Web.

The current version of Netquiz Web only offers formative quizzes. The CCDMD would like to continue its development to offer summative quizzes as well.
