About the author
She was born in Laval, France to French parents, one of which was from Guadeloupe. She spent her formative years in the Brittany region of France and eventually moved to Paris where completed a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages at the Université Paris 3 Sorbonne-Nouvelle and started her career.
In 2006 she moved to Canada. She has been teaching for the last 10 years, starting with brief contracts at La Cité Collégiale and the Canadian School of Public Service. She began teaching French as a Second Language and Spanish at Cégep Heritage College in 2008.
Virginie cares about a number of causes and has lent her time to amateur soccer associations as an administrator and helps immigrants to integrate into their new lives in Canada. Virginie is a proud mother of 3 boys and has enjoyed raising them in her new life in Canada.
