Profweb Casts Off for Another Year!

This text was initially published by Profweb under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 International licence, before Eductive was launched.

With the glow of summer’s sweetness still lingering about us, we face the excitement of the new semester.

In the spirit of this time of fond memories and excited anticipation of the semester to come, the members of theAnimaweb team invite you, for the third year, to turn to Profweb when a need for answers to questions of IT integration comes to the fore. Browse our features to stay abreast of developments as technology becomes a road more frequently traveled by collegial educators. We are hoping that Profweb’s resources will be how our readers can discover the perfect IT solutions for their personal style of teaching.

Profweb the same address with a new airier apperance poster

Our Animaweb Column, our reports, our professional development listings, our stories, resources, scenarios, events and RSS feeds are all in place to make new developments in collegial IT available and understandable to our readers in both English and French. This year a particular attention will be paid to the development of our personal web space services. Our Profweb 2 interface with its airier appearance, more direct access to new information and new interactivity is up and running. We will continue to contribute meaningfully to the site by promoting Profweb to increase readership and by asking for your cooperation to keep us aware of breaking developments. By June 2008, we are hoping to have contributions from each college in the network and to have made ourselves an address of consequence for each and every consumer of technology in the collegiate network.

Don’t miss out on all the exciting developments that are happening in collegial IT this year! Take a coffee break with us weekly to stay at the leading edge of IT events. To keep our weekly rendezvous in mind, we’re distributing our signature bookmark to every prof in the system. Assemble it to make a cardboard replica of a coffee mug. The news of the week will be waiting in the Animaweb column. This year, you can give us your reactions immediately using our ‘Comments by Readers’ feature. We’re looking forward to hearing from you so that we can even better reflect the IT experience of the Quebec College Community.
