About the author
It’s with an open view of sciences that Caroline Dupont has been teaching chemistry at Cégep de the Sainte-Foy for 10 years. She sees chemistry as one of the tools to approach our environment on all scales. Her scientific background is varied: a major in geology (UQAM), a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry (UQAR and Laval University) and oceanography projects (Institut des Sciences de la mer in Rimouski). What motivates her daily is to bring her students to develop their scientific skills in authentic situations in order to promote their involvement in their environment.
