About the author
Mahdi Khelfaoui has been a professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) since 2021. An engineer by training, he holds a master’s degree and a PhD from UQAM in Science, Technology and Society. As a multidisciplinary researcher, his areas of specialization include economic and industrial history, energy history, and the history of science and technology. He is also interested in promises and discourses related to the advent of new technologies and their impact on the formulation of public policies that support and regulate them.
