Description of Objective 4.2 – Content Sharing

This task requires that students share digital content by making information available to others.

Students must first determine the objectives and the context for sharing in order to better understand the task to be completed, then select the appropriate tool. They must foresee the technical requirements to ensure the success of the required actions and make use of the features of the selected tool correctly to share the information adequately. Finally, it is necessary to apply good practices when it comes to sharing digital content.

4.2.1 – Specify the objectives and context of content sharing

This task aims at describing the action of sharing content according to the needs to be addressed.

To adequately define the objectives and context of this activity, students are invited to identify its needs and goals, as well as to identify all aspects that might be susceptible to influence their choices and mode of operation.

4.2.2 – Select the appropriate sharing tool

This task consists of selecting the tool that best suits the needs of the content sharing to be carried out.

In order to properly choose tools suitable for the recipients, students must take into account the characteristics of the information to be shared, the features and characteristics of the tool and the context in which the sharing of content is required.

4.2.3 – Anticipate the technical aspects of sharing

This task consists of taking into consideration the technical requirements of the sharing tool. This step allows for an easy sharing of contents without any complications.

To complete this, students must identify the tool’s operating mode by carrying out all of the necessary checks and operations.

4.2.4 – Share web elements or content files

This task requires that students properly use the features of the selected tool in order to carry out the sharing of files.

In order to attain their objectives, students must be able to perform different operations specific to the sharing of files or web content.

4.2.5 – Apply best practices in sharing content

At this stage, students must be able to apply best practices related to sharing content. This task consists of respecting rules for sharing content in an online working context.
