  • Sara Hashem, PhD, is an award-winning educator and researcher specializing in educational programming and institutional development. She serves as Pedagogical Advisor for innovation, professional development, and research at Champlain College Saint-Lambert. She also lectures in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at McGill University and is Co-Founder of the Artful Inquiry Research Group (AIRG), where she supports the advancement of arts-based and interdisciplinary educational research. Her academic work seeks to push the boundaries of pedagogical knowledge and create learning experiences that meaningfully bridge theory and practice. Her professional practice centres on building learning communities and promoting accessible, inclusive approaches to education (EDI). In 2023, she published the edited volume Making Connections in and Through Arts-Based Educational Research and is currently preparing a new book on re-emergences in education.
